The areas in need of support, set out in Part B, aim to ease the burden on host countries and to benefit refugees and host community members. Grouped around the pillars of the CRRF, and based on past comprehensive responses, the areas highlight where the international community may usefully channel support for a comprehensive and peoplecentred response to large refugee situations, adapted to the specific context, and in line with national priorities, strategies and policies. The success of the measures in Part B relies on robust and well-functioning arrangements for burden- and responsibility-sharing (Part A), and a commitment on the part of the international community as a whole to providing concrete contributions to bring these arrangements to life, based on the principle of burden- and responsibility-sharing.
