(1) Whosoever, intentionally and knowingly and for the purpose of dissemination, makes false or grossly distorted assertions of fact, the dissemination of which is capable of disrupting the function of the Armed Forces, or disseminates such assertions with knowledge of their falseness in order to obstruct the Armed Forces in the fulfilment of their duty of national defence, shall be liable to imprisonment not exceeding five years or a fine.

(2) The attempt shall be punishable.
