Definition
(1) In jointly-committed offences, only the person who voluntarily abandons the attempt to commit an
offence may benefit from the voluntary abandonment provisions.
(2) The voluntary abandonment provisions shall apply if:
a) the offence was not committed because of the efforts of the person voluntarily abandoning
the commission of the offence, and not for any other reason;
b) the offence was committed and the person who voluntarily abandoned the commission of
the offence employed his best efforts to prevent the commission of such offence.
