Measures to ensure cooperation between Member States in the areas of freedom, security and justice (Article 74, TFEU)

Definition

The Council shall adopt measures to ensure administrative cooperation between the relevant departments of the Member States in the areas covered by this Title, as well as between those departments and the Commission.

It shall act on a Commission proposal, subject to Article 76, and after consulting the European Parliament.
