Definition
1. Each Party agrees to co-operate with the other Party with a view to supporting the
implementation of the commitments and obligations undertaken under this Chapter.
Areas of co-operation include exchanges of information or experience on the
following:
(a) the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, including
geographical indications; and
(b) the establishment of arrangements between their respective collecting societies.
2. Pursuant to paragraph 1, each Party agrees to establish and maintain an effective
dialogue on intellectual property issues to address topics relevant to the protection
and enforcement of intellectual property rights covered by this Chapter, and any
other relevant issue.
