Family In the context of human society, a family is a group of people related either by consanguinity, affinity , or co-residence.
Adult In human context, the term adult has meanings associated with social and legal concepts. In contrast to a "minor", a legal adult is a person who has attained the age of majority and is therefore regarded as independent, self-sufficient, and responsible. The typical age of attaining adulthood is 18, although definition may vary by legal rights and country.

Elderly Elderly refers to ages nearing or surpassing the life expectancy of human beings, and is thus the end of the human life cycle. Old age is not a definite biological stage, as the chronological age denoted as "old age" varies culturally and historically. The United Nations has agreed that 65+ years may be usually denoted as old age and this is the first attempt at an international definition of old age.
Parent A parent is the caretaker of a child (where "child" refers to offspring, not necessarily age). A biological parent is a person whose gamete resulted in a child, a male through the sperm, and a female through the ovum. Some parents may be adoptive parents, who nurture and raise an offspring, but are not actually biologically related to the child. With recent medical advances, it is possible to have more than two biological parents. Examples of third biological parents include instances involving surrogacy or a third person who has provided DNA samples during an assisted reproductive procedure that has altered the recipients genetic material.
Child Biologically, a child is a human being between the stages of birth and puberty. The legal definition of child generally refers to a minor, otherwise known as a person younger than the age of majority.
